Camp Hero was constructed in 1942 as a secretive military base; due to fears that it might be vulnerable to German U-boat attacks, the camp was designed to resemble an innocuous New England fishing town from the outside. During the 1950s, the base was outfitted to protect against potential Soviet missile threats, but its radar systems was deemed outdated by 1981, at which point it was shut down. The land was eventually donated to the New York Department of State Parks and opened to the public.

All of this may seem fairly ordinary on the surface, but according to local legend the camp was also the site of a military experiment dubbed “The Montauk Project.” Two boys were allegedly kidnapped and experimented upon in the camp in an effort to interact with another dimension. It is said that one of the boys succeeded in pulling forth a creature named Junior from the fourth dimension; the creature was captured and contained underground where it still remains.

stranger things ?

A few weeks ago, I visited a location on my bucket list, well before the popular television series "Stranger Things" gained recognition. During my exploring I applied to all rules and regulations. I must admit, I had an unusual experience. The night before my visit, a friend and I drove to the area to familiarize ourselves with the location, which is a practice I follow for any site I plan to explore. We intended to check out the lighthouse in Montauk, but it was too dark and the building was closed for the night. Upon returning home, I became quite ill, which I now wonder if I should have interpreted as a sign.

The following day, we returned to the site. I won’t go into too much detail, but if you would like to see my experience, please check out my YouTube video titled "DeadlyHauxxtedDivaa." In the video, I can be seen exploring the area, but I experienced anxiety and panic, which I struggled to articulate at the time. At certain points, you can hear whistling when I looked down the sewer pipe. I should mention that my friend was standing next to me, and to our knowledge, no one else was present. So to answer you NO it was not myself or my friend !

As I continued to walk around, I thought I saw something on several occasions during our visit. I recall telling my friend about it while walking back to the car and he finally told me the rumors that’s when my heart dropped ; he told me about the rumors about skinwalkers and the monsters and aliens , other krypo sightings being known there .

Anyways do I highly recommend going to checking out MTK CAMP HERO , YES! But please be safe and make sure you bring friends ! Anyways stay spooky :,)

we saw…something

I can see this hasn’t really been touched in almost 10 years, but me and my friend saw something pretty wild. a creature or something, no features, sorta small, it was fleshy and just looked like a blob, it kept standing up and flopping down when we shunned a light on it and then hovered in the air in a circle before going back down perfectly still, it was weird…
