Montauk Manor
Montauk, NY 11954
Montauk Manor was originally constructed in 1927 as a resort for the wealthy. It fell out of favor during the Great Depression, but has since been restored and returned to its purpose as a 10,000 acre estate. The land is also home to more than a few restless spirits. Next to the Manor is a small cemetery, built on what was originally a burial ground and meeting place for Native Americans. To this day visitors say that they can hear chanting and drumming about the property, and some guests have even seen a Native American man in the corners and shadows of the hotel’s fourth floor.

3am winter. Not many people in hotel. Heard a child laughing and running in hallway. Looked out and no one was there. 4am heard furniture moving in room next to us . Room was not occupied. Winter time and hotel was empty. We were freaked!!
