Sayville’s Union Cemetery, found near St. Ann's Cemetery and St. Ann's Episcopal Church, has been host to numerous ghostly sightings. With graves belonging to many people from all walks of life, it is hard to say what is causing the paranormal occurrences. Some have witnessed shadow people running across the grounds, and others have seen a gray, bearded man with a hat near the back of the graveyard.

A friend and I visited this cemetery last night. He saw dark shadowy figures and I saw a white male figure. While heading towards the back of the cemetery, right after I saw the figure, we both started hearing a bell ringing and immediately turned back. We also both saw a small orb of light. Went back this morning and we saw neither a bell or the light source.
