' THE LAST MASQUERADE OF 1913'. - The Ball That Never Ended
Legend tells that on a cold autumn night in 1913, guests gathered inside Deepwells Mansion for one final grand masquerade. At midnight, the lights went out. When they returned, some guests had vanished. Some could not remove their masks. Others were never quite the same.
More than a century later, the mansion remembers.
Your invitation begins in the cigar parlor, where you’ll receive your own masquerade mask before entering the remains of the doomed celebration. Pass through the dining room and ballroom, where ghostly couples still waltz to music that never stopped. Then climb the staircase into two full floors and 14 rooms of terror, where more than a century of nightmares have taken hold — giant webs and creatures lurking within, walls of expressionless masks that suddenly come alive, tortured souls, and the caged missing guests of the 1913 ball who may have never escaped at all.
Think you’ve made it out of the mansion?
Listen closely. The waltz is still playing.
The nightmare follows you outside and onto the haunted grounds, through a twisting corn maze, terrifying wooded trails and into the Graveyard of the Undead, where some of the guests who fled the masquerade may have been waiting for you all along.
Deepwells remembers the Masquerade of 1913.
The masks have returned. The music has begun. And the mansion is looking for new guests.

One of the best haunted attractions on Long Island! From the second you walk up to the mansion, the eerie atmosphere sets the tone — actors fully in character from start to finish are incredible. Every room tells a story, every turn has a scare waiting for you, and the detail that goes into the makeup, sets, and lighting is unreal. Huge shoutout to the Deepwells team for pulling off another incredible year. It’s the perfect mix of scary and fun — just enough to make you scream, laugh, and immediately want to go back for more. 10/10!

Upon leaving, found my car to be completely blocked . Spoke to the parking attendants and to security both tried to be helpful. Security was speaking to Karen on a two way. And what she told security to tell us because we heard the entire conversation from her because of the two way radio is “too bad they’re just going to have to wait” , said something else about being too busy with lines was shocked by her attitude over the two way so walked over and found her. Asked why they couldn’t announce the license plate over a loudspeaker system, it’s because they had none then said tow the car I have someplace I have to go and couldn’t wait around at this point we were past a half hour of me waiting and they had no idea if it would be five minutes or another 2 to 3 hours I would have to wait. Also explained to her clearly I heard her conversation over the two way radio which she denied both myself, and my husband were standing right there when she was on the radio. Maybe next time say let me see what I can do not too bad so sad not my problem and I’m too busy to handle your problem which is basically what was said or even better have a more organized parking system so it doesn’t happen again because I was also informed not the first time this has happened. It’s a shame to have somebody like her in charge. After about 45 minutes or a little more the car to one of the sides left and after much maneuvering we were able to finally get out no help from anybody at the place. We will never go back and will sure to tell others as well. There is plenty other attractions that are very well organized. I will stick to them. Oh she did offer us two free tickets yeah that’s a huge no why don’t you handle things when there’s a problem instead of doing absolutely nothing because you’re too “ busy” and can’t be bothered because nothing was done after quite some time and drop the attitude

Went to Deepwells haunted mansion tonight. The whole experience from beginning to end was absolutely awesome. The actors really do a great job! There is a scare at every turn. And the decorations on the grounds complete the whole spooky atmosphere. Congratulations on another year of frights. You guys keep us coming back year after year. See you next year.🎃
