Festival will feature a costume parade, trick or treating and a display of scarecrows created for the annual scarecrow competition. Winners of the competition are announced during the festival and the public votes for favorites. Please contact The Ward Melville Heritage Organization for an official contest entry form.
Hours of Operation: Deadline for registration – MONDAY – September 23 Contestants set up scarecrows at assigned locations – WEDNESDAY, September 25 to FRIDAY, September 29 Public votes on entries by casting ballots available in Stony Brook Village Center stores – MONDAY, September 30 to FRIDAY, October 25 Winners will be notified by 5:00pm – MONDAY – October 28 Winners will be announced during the Halloween Festival in Stony Brook Village – THURSDAY, October 31
Admission Costs: Entry fee $30
