Spooky

Awesome house. They did a great job with the animatronics and effects like the smoke and music. They also had candy out for the kids. The couple who owns the house is so great!

The Ultimate Haunted House Experience

This house is absolutely incredible! From the moment we pulled up, the lights, fog, and eerie sound effects created the perfect spooky atmosphere. The decorations were so detailed and lifelike every corner had something new to discover. The electrical effects and moving props were timed perfectly, giving us a few jump scares and plenty of laughs. My kids were completely mesmerized; they begged to go back again, and we did, multiple times! It’s clear the owners put so much effort and creativity into making it a magical (and slightly scary) Halloween experience for families. Definitely the best-decorated house we’ve ever seen!

Wow and oh boy

This residential property is so over the top amazing it’s hard to even put into words. Every inch of their front lawn and front of the house is taken up with scary fun Halloween decor. Smells sounds music fog and things that jump and talk. Definitely worth a trip.

SO MUCH FUN!!! A MUST SEE!!!!!!

From the pop up scares to the lighting, giant spiders and fog, this house is by far the best we've been to this year!!!! You can see a lot of detail went into planning this too!! There's not just things thrown around. There was a witch section, zombie section, pumpkin patch section, reaper section, graveyard and original type guys like Dracula and Frankenstein too! Must've taken forever to set up and where the heck do they store everything??? Ha!! Great job Stonywood Scare!!!

This is our second year at this outdoor haunt and it is amazing, so many props and they are all setup in a nice grouping together where they all make sense. Awesome lights sounds and fog effects!! This is a must see for anyone who loves Halloween! A big thank you to the family who sets this up!!

Love this yearly tradition!

This house is so well decorated! All of the figures and lights make for an enjoyable visit. It’s incredible to think of the time and effort that goes into creating such a spectacle! Can’t wait for next year!

The best out there

Stony wood scare is incredible! Decorated perfectly every year and gets better every time. Highly recommend, and of course, a great cause for a donation. If you love Halloween, this is an absolute MUST to visit! Make sure your kids grab a treat by the front door too

The absolute best house!!!!

wow went with my wife and kids, i was amazed at the size and sheer number of animatronics on the lawn. The time, money and effort put into this must have been staggering, i told my wife i felt like i was away at a theme park or something. Lots of lights, sounds, jumping displays, great detail. Every inch of the front lawn was covered. You can walk up to the front door, owners are awesome and friendly. All done for a great cause--Wounded Warrior

Unbelievable amount of animatronics!

There was SO many different moving animated dudes!! There was fog, music, impressive amount of lights and a LOT going on!! We walked along the sidewalk and up to their front door and there was even candy! SO much fun for all ages. We went twice this year and you see something new every time. Fantastic and thank you so very much for doing this !!!

We live nearby and our kids (now in middle school and hs) have loved walking by and driving by on a regular basis to see the house. One year, there was a jump scare in front of the ring doorbell — I’m convinced it was put there to laugh. It’s not crazy gore or fear just good old family friendly Halloween fun that’s done to benefit a cause.

This haunted yard is awesome. I've never been to anything like it and the owners of the house do a very good job decorating every inch of their house and yard. They diligently maintain the props and came out to reset rocking grandma in front of me. She was terrifying.

This is such an impressive display! And one of the most impressive parts is the fact that it is raising money for charity. This house was set up with awesome Halloween decorations, fog machine and Halloween candy. It is well worth the drive and donating to a good cause. There are a few decorations that might scare you as it did me. The family is super sweet and the inside is also decorated with Halloween decorations that move. Great place to bring the family.

We went to a few houses in Commack and this by far is the best!! They have a ton of animatronics and some good jump scares. Lots to see and great for the younger kids too!! One of the other homes (on Peppermint) is very cool and has a show or something, but there's so much going on at Stonywood Scare and it's a way different "Haunt". We came last year too and there's SO many more things to see this year. My family had a ball... lots of screams and laughs and some candy was there too! All in all a fantastic time!!!

The best

Awesome display, Stonywood Scare has TONS of animatronics. The lighting and fog are amazing!! Many amazing little details.

Scartastic

We loved all the special effects for this spooky house. The fog machines helped to get into the Halloween spirit. Our kids love the jump scare characters. We will def go back.

Really cool. Kids love it

There is so many cool and unique things. The windows also have some sort of video thing in it that makes it look like there is a zombie girl inside! Great place to bring your kids!

We love Stonywood Scare! We always end the night with this house because we save the best for last! The animatronics are amazing! The decorations, lighting, smoke are all fantastic! There’s so much scary detail all throughout the yard, in the windows, on the house itself! It’s a frightfully good time!! It’s an absolute must. Do not miss this Halloween house!

Email Verified Absolutely Fantastic Haunted House!!!

We drove all the way from Long Beach to see this incredible display of creative genius! So much thought went into all the details it was mind-boggling. Any of the local nurseries who design haunted houses really should take a look at this display and see how it's done!! We had the best time and it's great for children and adults of all ages! We are definitely going to take another drive so we can experience all the excitement and drama again!! 🎃👻🖤💀🧡
