Oheka Castle
Huntington, NY 11743
Oheka Castle, a 109,000-square-foot, 127-room estate was originally constructed as a summer home for Otto Hermann Kahn, and has changed hands several times since his death in 1934. Today Oheka Castle serves as a luxurious catering hall, and is also open for tours of the mansion and surrounding property.
The mansion is alleged to house secret passageways, hidden rooms, and clandestine tunnels, as well as a strange cage-like area in the basement. Some of the tunnels are said to stretch all the way to Cold Spring Harbor. Visitors claim to have seen shadowy figures lurking around the mansion or between the bushes outside, and those who attempt to take a picture of Kahn’s portrait have had their cameras go off without the push of a button. Watery footprints have also appeared in the pool room late at night after the pool has closed.

I was using Hotel.ya to book a stay here and for the price I thought it was sketchy. I was laying in my Bed and I all of a sudden got the chills . I turned my head to the other side and saw a ghost like figure laying beside me. He sparked up a conversation and told me I dont belong here. Then the bed flipped with me in it.
I woke up and everything was still in place, lets just say the bed was wet LOL. I then began to believe in God Lol.

Went there see a wedding. Back in 2019, the place is amazing , I went to use the bathroom as I went to wash my hands and there was a man standing in a suit by the sinks, I assumed he was a bathroom attendant. I actually had a nice conversation with the gentleman. His suit wasn’t like the ones that were of the time it was like back 1920’s style.. but we chatted bout the Mansion for about 20 mins then I said good bye and be well and left. Before I left the for the evening I went to the desk to compliment the courtesy of if the gentleman in the bathroom the clerk behind the desk looked puzzled, I then said Clifford was very polite and a pleasure to chat with, the girl said to me “ Sir there was no attendant in the bathroom this evening.
AWESOME I was chatting for 20 mins w a Ghost.

Last night, not sure if it was a dream but it seemed so real... in the middle of the night I woke and I saw a shadowy man leaning against the wall. I sat up and he reached his hand out towards me. He vanished and then a second later I heard a man’s laugh.

I was there in February 2014 using a Groupon for a one night stay and dinner. The radio we brought flew across the room from being on the dresser. It didn’t just roll off, that radio had some force behind it. We just thought the entity didn’t like the song. Enjoy!!

I am invited to go to a party at the castle next Saturday night and, frankly, I am scared shitless - may need to wear Depends.
