What's new at Haunted House of Hamlet Rd for 2018? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

New for 2018 is the haunted hearse, this hearse will drive through the cemetery and skeletons. Also new will be life size, and bigger than life size monsters. And more!

What are you most excited about for the 2018 Halloween Season?

I am excited for everyone to see all the props and special effects that go into the haunt.

What differentiates Haunted House of Hamlet Rd from other local haunts in Long Island?

There is a lot of custom made props. People can walk along the walkways and see the entire yard up-close.

How long has Haunted House of Hamlet Rd been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Haunted House of Hamlet Rd 's history?

It started years ago as a kid, my family would put up Halloween decorations from stores. Then we would begin making our own decorations. Eventually I started putting a lot of time and effort into making a great yard display, and over the past couple of years i have added many new things for people to enjoy. Every year, more people stop by to see the house, which is motivation to give them a great experience.

What's your favorite experience since opening Haunted House of Hamlet Rd ?

My favorite thing is when people are amazed by the house and really enjoy the entire display.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Haunted House of Hamlet Rd from start to finish?

Some people stop for a couple minutes just to see the house overall and some stay for almost 30 minutes looking at all the details of the house.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Haunted House of Hamlet Rd is? Why?

7. Most of the house is for people of all ages to enjoy during the day. At night it is scarier with the animatronics and special effects.

Does Haunted House of Hamlet Rd 's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

No, there isn't any real haunted history at the house. The only spooky encounters come during Halloween.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

I love to build, and I love skeletons, monsters, and all the scary things of Halloween. My favorite thing is creating everything that is in my head and putting it into one big display.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Haunted House of Hamlet Rd ?

All the new technology in props is amazing, and they definitely help create a better atmosphere. People like to see the animated props, and some of the props get good scares too.

Can Haunted House of Hamlet Rd accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Haunted House of Hamlet Rd together as a group?

Since it is a home haunt there is no limit to the amount of people, but with the more people that come it might take a little longer to see everything.

Does Haunted House of Hamlet Rd offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

No, the house is free to come visit!
