What's new at Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’ for 2025? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

This year we have our Blood Harvest Corn Maze and the Haunted Forest Trail of the Forgotten. We have reimagined the mansion itself with many new rooms featuring different scenes of terror.

What are you most excited about for the 2025 Halloween Season?

Our Freakshow 2 theme is truly terrifying. Inside and out, Deepwells always delivers the horror.

What differentiates Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’ from other local haunts in Long Island?

What makes Deepwells Haunted Mansion truly unique is that it isn't just decorated to look haunted - it actually is. Built in 1845, this historic mansion has more than a century and a half of ghost stories etched into its walls. Guests aren't just walking through staged sets, they are stepping into real history. Deepwells surrounds you with the genuine atmosphere of a mansion that's stood through time and may still be home to spirits of its own.

How long has Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’ been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’'s history?

We change our theme every two years, but Deepwells Haunted Mansion has evolved over two decades of haunting.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’ from start to finish?

It takes about twenty minutes to a half hour to move through the Deepwells experience. It depends if you are savoring the experience or running in fear.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’ is? Why?

On a scale of 1 to 10, we are probably a 10. Not suitable for young children.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

The Deepwells Haunted Mansion experience has been an ongoing and evolutionary event. We have come a long way from our very first event to create a show stopping experience that is a Long Island favorite.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’?

We are always updating our arsenal to include new props and reimagine the old ones.

Can Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’ accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Deepwells Haunted Mansion 'FREAK SHOW’ together as a group?

We allow groups of five to enter together.
