About Spooky Fest - The Woods are Haunted! - Rockville Centre NY
Halloween Fun for the Family
What's lurking in the woods this Halloween??? The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) will be celebrating Halloween with Spooky Fest, including our annual Spooky Walk through the woods. This family friendly event will take place on Friday, October 28th, Saturday, October 29th and Sunday, October 30th from 6:30-9:30pm at the Tanglewood Preserve in Rockville, Centre. The wooded paths on the preserve will be transformed for Halloween, with eerie lighting, special effects and characters along the way. Perfectly spooky and a little scary. A Not-so-Spooky Walk through the Friendly Forest is also available for younger children.
Creatures of all kinds inhabit the woods, the strange and beautiful will draw you into the eerie paths... the ghosts and ghouls come out to play. Bigger than ever, the cost for the Spooky Walk $10 for children and $5 for adults; which includes both walks through the woods, Halloween craft activities, and admission to The Amazing Animals Exhibit. New this year is the Mystic Den...step inside and see what waits for you.... The exhibit is home for over 30 animals, many of which are exotic. CSTL is a non-profit organization located on the 17-acre Tanglewood Preserve and is complete with ponds, streams, trails, and a gift shop. For questions, please call CSTL at 516-764-0045 or email helpdesk@cstl.org. Check out CSTL.org for a preview of the event... if you dare!
