The Halloween Boat Burning began as a simple thank you to the local residences because they had to endure an increase in traffic and more activity as the Museum gained popularity.

Halloween costumes, hot apple cider, sea chanties, pumpkins, crisp autumn air and a great, big bonfire.

This event is awesome. And now they even have pirates...yes, pirates. Walking around, giving out coins and great for the kids....
