According to http://www.thebroccolirobshow.com/, singer/songwriter Robert Poe plays a Super Veggie Hero named Broccoli Rob in the fun show, to be held on the showmobile both days. Along with other characters, he stresses the importance of eating fruits, vegetables and other high nutrient foods and combines music, comedy, fitness, dance, and martial arts into an interactive and highly entertaining show.

Sculptor Andy Gertler
Sculptor Andy Gertler travels the world working with a variety of different elements including, sand, ice, snow, and most recently, pumpkins. He owns Sand Sculpt USA and Flashbooty, which focus on the arts and game creation. According to his bio, Gertler stars in the Travel Channel’s reality show, “Sand Masters,” where he and five of his sand sculpting cohorts travel around the world creating sand sculptures for various clients. The not-to-be-missed sculptor will carve pumpkins at the festival in the pumpkin patch.

Illustrator Alison Josephs
The illustrator of a series of books featuring the antics of Carlos the French bulldog, penned by author Maureen Sullivan, will read their new Thanksgiving book and discuss the featured illustrations.

The author will read her book “Daria Rose and the Day She Chose,” about feeling empowered, having self-confidence, being brave, sharing camaraderie amongst friends, having good values and being grateful and considerate.

Located near technology vendors
The Deaf author will discuss and sell his book, “Fighting the Long Sorrow,” near the technology vendors. Additionally, the American Sign Language teacher and consultant will also present on the event’s showmobile, located on the Manor House hill.
In tent, Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9, all day, and on the showmobile
at 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday and 2 and 4 pm on Sunday.
• Author Amy Sargent
Located near technology vendors
The Deaf author will discuss and sell her book, “A Survival Guide for New Deafies,” near the technology vendors. The book offers tips on Deaf culture, explores audiograms and shares the author’s experiences as a late-deafened woman. Amy will also present on the event’s showmobile, located on the Manor House hill.
In tent, Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9, all day, and on the showmobile
at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm on Saturday, and 4:30 pm on Sunday.
• Photographer Alnoe Tabanera Paler
The Deaf photographer will showcase his stunning pictures in a tent near the technology vendors, as well as present about his experiences as a Deaf man on the showmobile stage. According his bio, Alnoe uses photography to communicate to people his enthusiasm in life, ideas and creativity, and his desire to give hope to people with disabilities to
live their dream and overcome adversities.
In tent, Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9, all day, and on the showmobile
at 12 and 4 pm on Saturday, and 12 and 3 pm on Sunday.
• NEW Hospitality Tent
Located near apples
Anniversary mementos including t-shirts and pins featuring Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, which is 60 years old; Mill Neck Services for Deaf Adults, which is 25 years old; the Mill Neck Manor Early Childhood Center, which is 20 years old; and the Fall Harvest Festival, which is 50 years old, will be available, as well as memory sharing, a special raffle, sign language novelty items and more.

• Buddy Bear
Mill Neck’s mascot, joined by a sizeable, walking Red Delicious Apple, will teach children sign language and pose for pictures around the Festival grounds.
