carnevil did not disappoint it did exactly the opposite. deadstock was especially scary and the walk to the isolated building only made it better. the hayride was down because of the weather but i'll definitely be back to check that out. major props to all the actors you guys got me good
Loved it!

I went to all three haunted attractions: the Chamber of Horrors, Deadstock, and the Hayride, and I loved them all! Super scary, with some really unexpected and clever twists. I highly recommend it!
Very cool night out,had a blast.

Went Saturday night and had a great time. Both houses were very scary and had my kids ducking for cover. The walk through the woods to second house was very creepy and the hayride was pretty cool. My kids really liked House of Mirrors in the carnival too. Good time, decent prices. Met the "owner" Slim Chance and took some pictures,if he really was the owner,it totally fits. The wait was a bit long but there was a magician who was really good entertaing while we waited. Inside there was a black and white room which was done very well with a crazy mime in it and the hostess with the club and crazy eyes was pretty wild. My kids were talking about her on the way home. Try to go on a day with good weather because there are rides and you can eat outside.

Deadstock was my favorite along with the horror house as almost a close second. The almost in the middle of nowhere aspect is what madw deadstock amazing. The walk getting there was creepy enough. The girls in these houses are the scariest girls i have ever seen. A creepy clown greeter was witty and scared the hell out of us with her eyes... Alot of the people had amazing makeup. Such a good haunt except the hayride. I felt like that was a waste of my money. There were. Few actors who were awesome but in the end.... It was a failure of a ride....
Hell of a Time!

this place is definately worth the money! while waiting on line they have characters walking around to keep you on your toes and entertained. Chamber of Horrors was awesome, there was a scare at every turn, I've even seen people run into walls. Deadstock had alot of scares as well and so did hayride, and the actors look like they have a great time. Best Haunted House I've been to in a long time

My hubby & I took our kids to Carnevil which was their 1st time going to a haunted house. I have to say that I've been to all of the houses on Long Island & even some in Manhattan but this one topped them all. every monster in there was awesome. My 7yr. old son was so scared & my 9 year old daughter was hysterical crying before we even went in. hubby & I were gonna take turns until some bloody & gory dead looking woman came out of the house to shake my kids hands.even though she was very scary looking & had a scary raspy voice my kids weren't afraid anymore after meeting & talking to her. she assured them that it was all pretend & guaranteed they could leave at any time. I have to say a Big TY to her for putting her job at risk just to make my babies feel better, because of her we were also able to do Deadstock too. hubby & I thought the houses were very scary & well planned out. there were surprises & scares at every turn & it was nonstop throughout the entire event. unfortunately the hayride & some of the other events were closed due to the weather but we intend on going back. we may even go through the houses again. The prices were also very affordable especially for anyone who has a large family & are on a budget. I HIGHLY recommend this haunt to everyone, you definitely will not be disappointed. Thanks Carnevil for an enjoyable night.

Went last year and had a blast! the atmosphere is great and the actors were very good. The price was great too unlike alot of other haunted houses on li. Overall a great value for families who dont want to spend a ton of of money and for young adults who dont have a ton of money to spend. Cant wait to see it this year!!!

Stamp on neck...

I am an avid Haunted House visitor, and was very disappointed with just about every aspect of CARNEVIL. For example, the Hay Ride was completely lacking, boring at best. The "story" didn't make much sense, and where was the "Montauk Monster" in any of it? Not to mention, this a Nassau County thing, so couldn't they find something to name it from Nassau not Suffolk. I think the worst part was that they insisted on stamping us with red ink on our NECKS to enter the haunted house. There are no refunds, so despite my protest, we allowed them to stamp us. I found this to be completely inappropriate, and when I got home, my shirt stained from it. Not to mention, the ink did not come off easily so my wife and I both had to go to work with red marks on our necks. Oh, and all-in-all, it was not worth it.
was pretty cool

i went thru the first house the bigger one with ym gf it was pretty cool the props were sick the hayride was good needed a few more effects but the 2 characters i liked most were zek the apple masher and the guy at the end i wont give it away but wow i was freaked and the details in his make up were amazing
Go carnevil

This events theme was so good. The chamber of horrors and the deadhouse had amazing actors. The line was a little backed up at times but there was a lot of actors measig with the crowd. I gotta say....they cast really good actors. The creepy greeter lady stamped our necks and the clown girl with crazy contacts gave me nightmares. She kept staring at us and laughing randomly... Freaky as hell.... She was scary as hell. The elevator operator was Very disturbing. The clown in the box room bent in wierd ways and the doctor turew water at us. Above all i thought that the chamber and deadhouse were amazing. A dude wih a hammer stalked my group and made the hair on my neck stand up. I loved the carnival rides too... I just think that it was a little pricey to ride them. Admission to the haumts was amazing... Only 13 bucks...well spent
It was OK

The make up and costumes were done very well. Some props were cool but that's where it ends. We were told in every room to "get out". Yeah Yeah.... after the third time it got kind of tired. The layout of the rooms didn't make much sense. Though the Christmas clown one was probably the best room in both houses. Being stamped on the neck was RIDICULOUS! The end with the chainsaw guy, eh. Props to the magician though. It's pretty expensive, but the idea was a good one.

Been to all on Long Island and even several out of state. This year's FearFest is excellent. They show that they care about our money. Try to meet the guy Slim Chance - he's really cool and it looks great on my FB page for my friends and family. Recommended highly.
UNBELIEVABLE!

There were two people who were the craziest I have ever seen.....there was a crazy guy with a hammer who made the friggin floor rattle like crazy and this nutty clown girl who kept following my girlfriend and laughing in the dark. I felt like I was in the middle of hell being afraid of clowns. This girl scared the absolute crap out of me. A door with a chain really got me too. The overall creativity of the house was awesome. Even though its one house, you feel like you are in a lot at once. The exorcist girl gave me nightmare and the clown room had this guy that looked like a dummy as he was surrounded by a ton of dummies. He jumped up and I think I peed myself. Fear Fest is a great haunt for the price and Bayville is nothing compared to this.
omg AMAZING!

My whole family enjoyed the fear fest. For those that wanted to be scared out of their wits, the houses and hayride did not disappoint. For those who just wanted a good time, there was plenty of fun at the rides, carnival, maze and paintball area. The costumed actors were amazing and really added to the atmosphere. Not to be missed.
Wouldnt go back again

I thought that this haunt was great! I was hesitant to take my kids but in the end I saw that the actors care about the people coming through. My child was crying and one of the clown girls with tap shoes went up to him and asked him to "high five," her. He was still scared, but it made him feel better. It is VERY scary for those who hate the dark, but it is a good time and it is a very animated event. There are Carnival Rides in the event, so if you are scared of the people (like we were), you can still enjoy the atmosphere and not have screaming crying kids. Do use caution when bringing your child into the haunted house....it is VERY SCARY FOR KIDS! I thought that the pumpkin maker was astonishing as well as the magician who performed magic tricks for the people waiting in line. There is no room to be bored here....HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We visited several haunted houses this past holiday season, starting with this one. Every house after this one was a huge disappointment. The staff in this attraction were very commited to the scare--they worked you, followed you, interacted with you. The result was creep-tacular and memorable.

The other places were too busy ushering you into the next area after their "boo" was done--and, as a result, you were left wanting for more.
Highly recommend this haunted house to any that are looking for a fun night during Halloween season! Keep up the good work, Long Island Fear Fest!
not enough bang for ur buck

although it was a cool concept the haunted hay ride or should i call it the hauntless hay ride was seriously lacking and the story made no sense. the advertised "MONSTER MAZE" had no monsters. and the stamp on the neck was alittle intrusive. seemed like more money was spent on avertising and fancy tickets insted of where it was needed.
Family friendly, IE. Not Scary and expensive

We went to this on 10/15. Be prepared to spend alot of time on lines as it is a very popular attraction. I did like the idea of having a carneval along with 2 haunted houses, a maze and a hayride. I enjoyed some of the sights, I liked the deadside haunted house. that being said, This was way overpriced, and it's major probelm was it's lack of scares. The first haunted house is one of the most confusing I have ever been in, there is a santa claus (?) and they stamp your neck for no reason. You can only go on one thrill ride in the carneval and then yu need to pay $35 dollars more if you want to go on more rides. Because the whole combo ticket is so much, the rides are empty. The hayride was a joke, there are five people that run at the tractor; ohhh scary! Anyway there are scarier attractions on long island that are cheaper; spend your money there!
