A lost traveler must navigate a treacherous journey through the nine circles of hell in search of spiritual redemption and his lost love. The epic poem Inferno opens on the evening of Good Friday in the year 1300. This Halloween, Hempstead House will transform into a hellish interpretation of one of the greatest pieces of western literature. You will experience Dante’s journey in this emotionally charged installation as you explore the hallways, rooms, and vast basement. It promises to be a wicked whirlwind of stunning visuals, hauntingly vivid original imagery, and powerful symbolism. It is up to you to explore and interpret each room and make this journey your own. What you find may shed light in this dark place and, hopefully, help you to find your way out of hell. Email Haunt Owner

So scary!! The Basement was insane. I cried in the basement. Maybe everything In the basement should expand all over the mansion. But still the best haunted house I've ever been too! Totally worth going

  • Email Verified Left crying

The haunted house has lots of creative details and costumes. Actors were very true to characters. Freaky and awfully horrifying. So many rooms to get spooked in and really scary I saw several people left crying and even gave up half through the path. they were so well done! Definitely going back next year. Can't wait! And when they say PG14, that's for real.

  • Email Verified Awesome experience!

A haunted house in a real Gold Coast castle. This was so cool I saw a few panic attacks hehe. This was staged brilliantly and it was very dramatic without being corny. I saw a big improvement from last year to this years rendition. The designer of this years experience deserves some applause
